		<description>Well. This ended up causing me lots of trouble. I was not aware of the child theme, and simply wanted to edit the header file in the Theme Editor. Turns out I was editing the child theme (I guess this is the default setting?) and it was never applied to the main theme. None of my changes made it through. Extremely frustrating. I eventually figured it out by manually downloading files. I&#039;d put this in the readme, at a minimum.</description>

I was trying to add a page template, but don&#039;t see a pull down menu to choose anything when I am in the writing part of adding a page. Do you know what I mean? On other themes I&#039;ve played with I remember a little pull down on the right side that allows me to choose the template. Is that function disabled with Desk Mess? Or did I just do something wrong? Thanks so much for all your help!
