Here is the changelog.txt for Desk Mess Mirrored version 1.2:
Changelog (as of Aug 6, 2009)
NB: Version 1.2 will be the last version to maintain the legacy files:
* home.php
* header-home.php
To use the most current and up-to-date version of the Desk Mess Mirrored
theme, please delete and re-install. If you have any questions regarding
how to do this, please feel free to contact me directly. Thank you.
~~ cais– Version 1.2
– added “edit” link to page.php
– added “comments” to page.php
– added child theme: Multi in folder “desk-mess-mirrored-multi”
– added “child-theme-readme.txt” to help with installation
– editted “footer.php” to wrap wp_footer call in its own <div id=”bottom-extended”>
– CSS: added styles for #bottom-extended
Please note the pending removal of home.php and header-home.php files from the core theme files. I hope to see this version of the theme approved soon; and, with the included child theme. Although I searched through the WordPress documentation I was not able to find a reference stating this inclusion would be granted approval, or not.
If the inclusion of child themes is not accepted by the Themes group at WordPress.org, we will immediately make all of our public child themes available for download here. Our public child themes are also available upon request, too. Simply drop us an email and we will send it to you.
(NB: Desk Mess Mirrored version 1.2 is live as of Aug 10, 2009)

Hi Cais,
Ok, so I see the update for your awesome theme. Last night I made the “mistake” of updating a plug-in on my other site. I say mistake because the author made so many changes that it was too confusing for me to figure out. I had to abandon the whole thing and take a few hours to reconfigure my navigation bar.
So…before I update your theme…Should I really update? I love everything I have right now so can updating it give me anything “better”?
I just don’t want to spend hours reconfiguring.
Thanks…Paige
Hello Paige
I update my themes to improve their functionality but that does not mean you need to update if you are happy with what you have already, especially since you are using the version just prior to this one.
I also include the section of the changelog relevant to the current release so you do not need to download the theme to get an idea of the changes to expect. In this case, the child theme may be of interest as it is partially based on one of your suggestions (the rss feed link in the cup). The other changes are basically to meet additional theme submission standards.
And what about compatibility with IE8? It seems that there are some problems correctly displaying body, footer and sidebar widgets.

Sorry, it was my problem
Everything’s fine with IE

@Augustas – I’m glad you found what the issue was with your installation. I thoroughly test all of my themes for compatibility with all of the major browsers. I would have been most interested if you were experiencing issues directly related to one of my themes.
I have a widget with html code that displays links to site’s rss feeds. The html code was written without tags (only ) and that was the reason why IE8 did not show the layout properly although Safari and Firefox did not have problems displaying the page. That’s why I started blaming the theme. But everything is ok with it indeed – really high quality theme
Thank You, Augustas! I appreciate your compliments.
Hi, I have your theme on my website now and I love it, plus I love the changes w/the RSS feed in the coffee cup. I would like to use my logo in place of the site name (for ex. where it says buy now shop in the center). I read online that I just have to change the h1 in the header.php file, but I only see an h2. Is it possible for me to use my logo and could you help with that, please? Thank you!!

@Dawana – Making the changes may just be a “Five-Minute-Fix”. If you would like to send me a copy of your logo I would be happy to take a quick look at what needs to be modified to add it to your installation of the theme … and thank you for the compliments, I greatly appreciate them, too.
Thank you Edward, I have sent the logo to:aid@buynowshop.com.
