Widget to display a user selected image as a logo; or, used as a plugin that displays the image fixed in one of the four corners of the display.

Installation
This section describes how to install the plugin and get it working.
- Upload
bns-corner-logo.phpto the/wp-content/plugins/directory. - Activate through the ‘Plugins’ menu.
- Place the BNS Corner Logo widget appropriately in the Appearance | Widgets section of the dashboard.
- Enter the Title for the widget area if you do not want to use the default “My Logo Image”
- Enter the complete URL to the image, including the
http://; Optional: EnterALTtext for the image; Enter the URL for the image to link to, the “default” URL will be the page the image appears on. - Optional: Check the box to use the default admin (user-ID 1) gravatar; change the default gravatar display size (in pixels)
- Click “Save”

- Go to ‘Plugins’ menu under your Dashboard
- Click on the ‘Add New’ link
- Search for bns-featured-category
- Install.
- Activate through the ‘Plugins’ menu.
- Place the BNS Corner Logo widget appropriately in the Appearance | Widgets section of the dashboard.
- Enter the Title for the widget area if you do not want to use the default “My Logo Image”
- Enter the complete URL to the image, including the
http://; Optional: EnterALTtext for the image; Enter the URL for the image to link to, the “default” URL destination will be “_self” (the page the image appears on). - Optional: Check the box to use the default admin (user-ID 1) gravatar; change the default gravatar display size (in pixels)
- Click “Save”
- To use like a “fixed position” plugin:
- Use the checkbox beside “Use like a Plugin?”
- Choose the corner of the display from the dropdown box.
- Click “Save”

NB: This plugin will not resize your images, please make sure you use an appropriate sized image for the area you are placing it in. For the “fixed position” it is strongly recommended to use an image that is at least partially transparent for those readers with smaller screens.

Q. Can I use this in more than one widget area?
A. Yes, this plugin has been made for multi-widget compatibility. Each instance of the widget will display, if wanted, differently than every other instance of the widget.

your plugin is very useful and simple! Thank you for develop it.
I have a little question: how can I modify the plugin to make the logo fixed on the screen? I explain: I want a logo that “follow” the scrolling of the page, and an other one (a ribbon) that have to be fixed on the top-right position of the page, not following the scrolling.
I have searched in the files how can I say it to the plugin, but I’m quite orrible in developing languages. If you don’t know the way, can you please explain to me how to put a linked image in a part of my site using php?

@Jim (JJ Cheno) – “Shortcodes” have not been implemented in this plugin, yet; and, adding a widget area into a sidebar is generally not too difficult or time consuming. A widget area would also be able to serve more functionality than just allowing this plugin to be activated.

This plugin is great. I’ve only just started with WP and it’s all a bit overwhelming but I found yours very user friendly. I want to be able to display a large logo in the centre of my home page, is it possible with bns corner logo?
@luke – Thank you, I am very happy you have found this plugin to be “very user friendly”, that was part of the design concept. The plugin is only designed to place an image in one of the four corners of the screen, or in a widget area of the theme; placement elsewhere may be possible but it is currently outside the scope of the plugin functionality, although I will consider it for future updates.
